Dr. Dalton Brothers joined Brothers, Bezold, & Associates in 2019 directly after graduating from the University of Missouri - St. Louis College of Optometry. Dr. Brothers is a primary eye care doctor who practices the full scope of optometry. He enjoys seeing patients of all ages for comprehensive vision exams including: diabetic eye exams, pediatric eye exams, wellness exams, and the management of ocular conditions such as dry eye, cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. His research interests have centered on the treatment of ocular surface disease, specialty contact lenses, and dry eye management.
During his optometry training, he gained experience through clinical rotations at the Saint Louis University Eye Institute, University of Missouri St. Louis Pediatrics and Contact Lens Clinics, and Missouri Eye Institute.
Since graduation, Dr. Brothers has researched the clinical application and various methods of using platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for the treatment of ocular surface disease.
Dr. Brothers is a member of the American Optometric Association and Missouri Optometric Association. He is actively involved at his church in Fairland, OK and resides in Joplin, MO with his wife, Christa, and two young children, Faryn and Novalie. When not in the office, he enjoys spending time together with his family.
